Why these four topics

They represent four of the most important conversations shaping how we age today: our health, our wellness, our emotional resilience, and the technology that supports our independence.

Our purpose is not to tell anyone what to choose. It is to help families understand what is available, what questions to ask, and where to find trusted guidance — so decisions are made with clarity, not confusion.

Aging affects the whole family. This day is built for seniors and for the sons, daughters, spouses, and caregivers walking beside them.

Four educational tracks

The conversations that matter

Each track pairs an emerging topic with the plain, responsible context families need before making decisions.

01
The Future of Healthy Aging

Peptides & Modern Longevity

Focus: What peptides are, the current research, healthy aging and recovery, myths versus evidence, and the importance of appropriate medical guidance.

Why it matters: Peptides are becoming a major topic in preventive health and longevity. Families need clear, responsible education before making decisions.

Track sponsored by Revitalife Lab

02
Beyond the Label

CBD & Integrative Wellness

Focus: CBD education, pain management, sleep, anxiety, inflammation, safety, and the common misconceptions.

Why it matters: Many seniors and caregivers hear about CBD but don't know what the evidence supports, how it may interact with other care, or how to discuss it responsibly with healthcare professionals.

03
Caring for the Caregiver

Mental Health, Cognitive Wellness & Family Resilience

Focus: Depression, anxiety, isolation, dementia awareness, caregiver burnout, family support, and emotional well-being.

Why it matters: Aging affects the entire family. Education must serve not only seniors, but the sons, daughters, spouses, executors, and caregivers walking beside them.

04
The Future Is Aging Well

AgeTech, Mobility & Independent Living

Focus: Smart-home technology, fall detection, wearables, AI tools, medication reminders, remote monitoring, and mobility solutions that support independence.

Why it matters: Technology is changing how people age safely, remain connected, and live independently longer.

Built for seniors — and the families beside them.

This is a day for the whole family: for seniors making decisions about their own care, and for the sons, daughters, spouses, and caregivers walking beside them.

Evergreen Valley Rotary

The Evergreen Valley Rotary Club of San Jose

The Evergreen Symposium is a community project of a small, local club that believes good information should be free and easy to find. Rotarians give their time so that families in our community can make confident, well-informed choices about aging.

The proceeds and goodwill of this event support the club's ongoing service in the Evergreen Valley community — and the planning of next year's symposium.
